Phase I and II ESAs for Wind Farms throughout North America

KTA has completed over 400 Phase I ESAs in the past 20 years for wind farm facilities in 41 of 50 States and 2 Canadian Provinces. The size of the wind farms has ranged from 3,000 to 80,000 acres with the average approximately 25,000 acres. These Phase I ESAs have been completed for multinational wind energy development companies and large financing institutions. KTA has also completed substantial Phase II ESA surface water, soil, and groundwater investigations and associated site restoration to mitigate risks identified in the Phase I ESAs. KTA has extensive expertise regarding environmental conditions and industrial activities throughout North America. KTAs reputation for this support is extremely high, given our ability to perform the projects and then support our clients with mitigation, property transaction negotiations, and tax equity financing following the completion of the projects. The funds associated with tax equity financing generally exceed $100M and involve many parties.
